Translation
Master of the universe! Our holy Sages taught us: “Great is the day of rain, for even a coin in one's pocket is blessed.”
And therefore I beseech You to grant that I and the members of my household merit, by virtue of this auspicious time that exists when rain falls upon the face of the earth, abundant livelihood and great success, as it is written: “You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.”
For His benevolence is extended to every person, and He therefore provides each one with what corresponds to the root of his soul. May I and the members of my household be granted a livelihood without shame or disgrace, with abundance and an expansion of understanding, from the Source of Mercy, from beneath the Throne of Glory. May it be Your will, and let us say: Amen.
