(1) lamnatzeach al-hagitit livnei-korach mizmor

(2) ma-yedidot mishkenoteikha Ado-nai tzevaot

(3) nikhsefa vegam-kalta nafshi lechatzrot Ado-nai libi uvsari yerannu el el-chai

(4) gam-tzipor matza vayit udror ken lah asher-shata efrocheiha et-mizbechoteikha Ado-nai tzevaot malki velohai

(5) ashrei yoshvei veitekha od yehallukha sela

(6) ashrei adam oz-lo vakh mesilot bilvavam

(7) ovrei beemek habakha mayan yeshituhu gam-berakhot yate more

(8) yelkhu mechayil el-chayil yerae el-elohim betzion

(9) Ado-nai elohim tzevaot shima tefilati haazina elohei yaakov sela

(10) maginenu ree elohim vehabet penei meshichekha

(11) ki tov-yom bachatzereikha mealef bacharti histofef beveit elohai midur beaholei-resha

(12) ki shemesh umagen Ado-nai elohim chen vekhavod yiten Ado-nai lo yimna-tov laholkhim betamim

(13) Ado-nai tzevaot ashrei adam boteach bakh

Translation

(1) For the Leader; upon the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

(2) How lovely are Thy tabernacles, O LORD of hosts!

(3) My soul yearneth, yea, even pineth for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh sing for joy unto the living God.

(4) Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young; Thine altars, O LORD of hosts, My King, and my God—

(5) Happy are they that dwell in Thy house, they are ever praising Thee. Selah

(6) Happy is the man whose strength is in Thee; in whose heart are the highways.

(7) Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; yea, the early rain clotheth it with blessings.

(8) They go from strength to strength, every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.

(9) O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah

(10) Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of Thine anointed.

(11) For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand; I had rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

(12) For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD giveth grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.

(13) O LORD of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in Thee.

א לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ עַֽל־הַגִּתִּ֑ית לִבְנֵי־קֹ֥רַח מִזְמֽוֹר׃ ב מַה־יְּדִיד֥וֹת מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶ֗יךָ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ ג נִכְסְפָ֬ה וְגַם־כָּלְתָ֨ה ׀ נַפְשִׁי֮ לְחַצְר֪וֹת יְה֫וָ֥ה לִבִּ֥י וּבְשָׂרִ֑י יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ אֶ֣ל אֵֽל־חָֽי׃ ד גַּם־צִפּ֨וֹר ׀ מָ֪צְאָה בַ֡יִת וּדְר֤וֹר ׀ קֵ֥ן לָהּ֮ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁ֪תָה אֶפְרֹ֫חֶ֥יהָ אֶֽת־מִ֭זְבְּחוֹתֶיךָ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת מַ֝לְכִּ֗י וֵאלֹהָֽי׃ ה אַ֭שְׁרֵי יוֹשְׁבֵ֣י בֵיתֶ֑ךָ ע֝֗וֹד יְֽהַלְל֥וּךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ ו אַשְׁרֵ֣י אָ֭דָם עֽוֹז־ל֥וֹ בָ֑ךְ מְ֝סִלּ֗וֹת בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ ז עֹבְרֵ֤י ׀ בְּעֵ֣מֶק הַ֭בָּכָא מַעְיָ֣ן יְשִׁית֑וּהוּ גַּם־בְּ֝רָכ֗וֹת יַעְטֶ֥ה מוֹרֶֽה׃ ח יֵ֭לְכוּ מֵחַ֣יִל אֶל־חָ֑יִל יֵרָאֶ֖ה אֶל־אֱלֹהִ֣ים בְּצִיּֽוֹן׃ ט יְה֘וָ֤ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְ֭בָאוֹת שִׁמְעָ֣ה תְפִלָּתִ֑י הַאֲזִ֨ינָה אֱלֹהֵ֖י יַעֲקֹ֣ב סֶֽלָה׃ י מָ֭גִנֵּנוּ רְאֵ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֑ים וְ֝הַבֵּ֗ט פְּנֵ֣י מְשִׁיחֶֽךָ׃ יא כִּ֤י טֽוֹב־י֥וֹם בַּחֲצֵרֶ֗יךָ מֵ֫אָ֥לֶף בָּחַ֗רְתִּי הִ֭סְתּוֹפֵף בְּבֵ֣ית אֱלֹהַ֑י מִ֝דּ֗וּר בְּאָהֳלֵי־רֶֽשַׁע׃ יב כִּ֤י שֶׁ֨מֶשׁ ׀ וּמָגֵן֮ יְהוָ֪ה אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים חֵ֣ן וְ֭כָבוֹד יִתֵּ֣ן יְהוָ֑ה לֹ֥א יִמְנַע־ט֝֗וֹב לַֽהֹלְכִ֥ים בְּתָמִֽים׃ יג יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֑וֹת אַֽשְׁרֵ֥י אָ֝דָ֗ם בֹּטֵ֥חַ בָּֽךְ׃
