2 Prayers for Selling and Buying a Home (Apartment, House)

Prayer for Selling a House/Apartment in the Name of Rav Eliyahu Dushnitzer [One should give a monetary donation to a fund that supports children studying Torah, and ask the children to recite this prayer]. «Yehi ratzon milifnei Avinu she-baShamayim, she-yimatze lanu koneh l'diratenu venuchal bazeh l'malei cheftzeinu la'asok baTorah uvamitzvot bli kol hatradot, vela'asot retzoncha b'lev shalem». (May it be Your will, our Father in Heaven, that a buyer be found for our home (located in the city of…, on… street, belonging to…), so that we may fulfill our desire to engage in Torah and mitzvot without any worries, and to do Your will with a full heart).  

Segulot for Selling a House/Apartment

1. A segula to cleanse a home or sell a home – One should walk 7 circuits (along all the walls) of every room in the apartment/house while reciting:

• Pitum HaKetoret
• Psalm 29
• Ana BeKoach

After the prayers – a personal request. 2. A segula for selling (a house, shop, car) according to Sefer “Shimush Tehillim” Tehillim 114 – recite inside the property itself that you wish to sell. Even more effective – have a sofer write this psalm on klaf, and hang it at the entrance (on the door). [Be careful that it does not fall or lie on the floor – it contains Holy Names]. 3. A segula for a blessing on the sale of real estate One should read Tehillim 150, while looking at the item being sold, or being inside the property (or car) that is being sold.     Order of Prayers for Finding Housing in the Name of the Mekubal Salman Mutzafi 1) Tehillim 90:17 } 2 times «Vihi noam Ado-nai Eloheinu aleinu, uma'aseh yadeinu konenah aleinu, uma'aseh yadeinu koneneihu» – (May the pleasantness of the L-rd our G-d be upon us; establish for us the work of our hands; the work of our hands, establish it). 2) Tehillim 91 3) Tehillim 67 in the shape of the Menorah 4) Pitum HaKetoret Prayer «Yehi ratzon milefanecha Ado-nai Elohai v'Elohei avotai, shetamtzi li dirah tovah venaah umatzlicha, bimhera bekarov lagur bah ani uvnei veiti. Vihiyeh bah avir tzach vezach, velo yihiyeh bah kerirut urtivut, veyikanes bah hashemesh bizrichata uvishkiata, vetihiyeh matzlicha lanu velivriuteinu ulechol davar tov. (May it be Your will, L-rd, our G-d and G-d of our fathers, to find for me a good, pleasant and comfortable apartment – in the near future – for me and my household to live in. May the air in it be clear and clean, so that it will not be cold or damp in it, so that the sunlight will shine into it morning and evening, so that we may be healthy and content in it. And hasten to cleanse it, with all its rooms and all its corners, from harmful forces, from the evil eye, from all damage and loss – by the power of Your Holy Name; as is stated in the verse: “And it was, when the Ark set out, Moshe would say: Arise, O L-rd, and let Your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate You flee from before You. And when it rested, he would say: Return, O L-rd, to the myriad thousands of Israel.” And may there be fulfilled for us that which is written: “No evil shall befall you, no plague shall come near your tent.” “How goodly are your tents, O Yaakov, your dwelling places, O Israel!” Amen, so may it be His will!)   Segulot for Buying a House/Apartment 1. Tehillim 84 גַּם־צִפּ֨וֹר ׀ מָ֪צְאָה בַ֡יִת וּדְר֤וֹר ׀ קֵ֥ן לָהּ֮ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁ֪תָה אֶפְרֹ֫חֶ֥יהָ אֶֽת־מִ֭זְבְּחוֹתֶיךָ ה׳ צְבָא֑וֹת מַ֝לְכִּ֗י וֵאלֹהָֽי – «Gam tzipor matz'ah vayit, udror ken lah asher shatah efrocheha et mizbechotecha Ado-nai Tzeva'ot, malki v'Elohai» – (And the bird has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young – (and I) – at Your altars, O L-rd of Hosts, my King and my G-d). This verse is recited before Mincha – in the Korbanot section. Many Names of the Almighty are encoded within it – and these Names bring the blessing of finding one's own home. The Roshei Teivot of this verse – the first 10 letters of the first 10 words – גצמב וקל אשא – if written on klaf and carried on one's person – will bring good fortune for buying or renting the desired home. One may also recite the verse itself many times – 12, 22, 24 times.
