19 and 20 Iyar – the concluding days of “Tarin Pitḥin” (double abundance from Heaven)
The week known as
“Tarin Pitḥin” began on 14 Iyar—the
Hilula of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes. The holy Zohar says that during this week, the Gates of Heaven are open.
The 7 days from
“Pesach Sheni”—14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 Iyar—are days of
“Et Ratzon” (a time of special favor from Heaven).
The
Zohar HaKadosh, Raya Mehemna, in Beha’alotcha (folio 153a), states:
“Throughout these 30 days, from the day Israel left Egypt, from Pesach, the Queen sits in her crown, and all Her hosts rejoice. Whoever wishes to see the Queen may see Her. The herald announces: ‘Anyone who was unable to see the Queen, let him come and see Her before the gates close!’”—

2. Pitum HaKetoret.
The Order of "Pitum HaKetoret" According to the Arizal - Prayer Text with Transliteration
Before the passage “Tanu Rabbanan” (“Our Sages taught...”), pray for parnassah:
“Sovereign of the universe! In the merit of Rabbi Menachem-Mendel of Rimanov, who drew blessing down to the people of Israel, and in the merit of the Ketoret, which brought wealth and prosperity to the people of Israel, grant me and the entire people of Israel wealth; send me a worthy livelihood in abundance, without humiliation, so that I may give charity with a generous hand and have no debts... (continue by specifying exactly what is needed).”
Then continue reciting Pitum HaKetoret to the end.
- Recite “Mizmor LeTodah”—the Psalm of thanksgiving (Psalm 100)—7 times.
Give thanks for the prosperity one currently has, and then ask for more without hesitation.
From 19 Iyar until 6 Sivan—Shavuot—there are exactly 17 days, and we know that 17 is the gematria of the word “tov”—good.
For 17 days, light one candle each day lichvod Rashbi and ask Hashem, bizchut Rashbi, for personal needs and for the entire Am Yisrael.
