Prayer for the Shechinah

יְהִי רָצון מִלְפָנֶיךָ אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְדִידוּת אוֹר נַפְשֵׁינוּ רוּחֵינוּ וְנִשְמָתֵינוּ, לְמַעַן בְּרִיתְךָ אֲשֶר כָּרַתָּ לִשְׁלֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵה מִידוֹת שֶאֵינָן חוֹזְרוֹת רֵיקָם מִלְפָנֶיךָזְכוֹר אַהֲבָתֵינוּ וְחִיבָּתֵינוּ וְהָשֵׁב שְׁכִינָתְךָ לְבֵית קָדְשֵׁינוּ וְתַחֲזוֹר לְהִשְׁתַּעֲשֵׁעַ בָּנוּ כִּימֵי קֶדֶם כִּי קָשָׁה פְּרִידָתְךָ מִמֶנוּ כִּפְרִידַת נַפְשֵׁינוּ מִגוּפֵינוּ, הָמוּ מֵעֵינוּ וְכָלְתָה נַפְשֵׁינוּאֶל גְאוּלַת שְׁכִינָתְךָ מִתְחַנְנִים וּבוֹכִים לְפָנֶיךָ ה' אָב הָרַחֲמָןעַל גָלוּת הַשְׁכִינָה הוֹשִׁיעָה ה' שְׁכִינָתְךָ וְדַבֵּק נַפְשֵׁינוּ בְּאַהֲבָתְךָ הַנְעִימָה וְהָעַרֵיבָה עַל נַפְשֵׁינוּ רוּחֵינוּ וְנִשְׁמָתֵינוּ וְייֵעוֹל מַלְכֵּנוּ בְּהֵיכְלא. אמן כן יהי רצון   Yehi ratzon milfanecha, Avinu, Malkeinu, Eloheinu, yedidut or nafshenu, ruchenu ve-nishmatenu, lema'an britcha asher karata li-shlosh esreh middot she-einan chozrot reikam milfanecha. Zachor ahavatenu ve-chivatenu, ve-hashev Shechinatecha le-Beit Kodshenu ve-tachazor lehishtashéa ban u kimei kedem. Ki kashah peridatecha mimenu ki-fridat nafshenu mi-gufenu. Hamu me-einenu ve-kaltah nafshenu el ge'ulat Shechinatecha. Mit'chanenim u-vochim lefanekha, Ad-nai – Av ha-Rachaman, al galut ha-Shechinah. Hoshia Ad-nai Shechinatecha ve-dabek nafshenu be-ahavatecha ha-ne'imah ve-ha-arevah al nafshenu, ruchenu ve-nishmatenu, ve-ye'oll Malkeinu be-heikhala. Amen. Ken yehi ratzon. May it be Your will, our Father, our King, our G-d, the beloved light of our souls—nefesh, ruach, and neshamah! For the sake of Your covenant, which You made through the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy, which do not remain unanswered before You, remember our love and our devotion, and return Your Shechinah to our Holy Temple, and return to take delight in us as in days of old. For our separation from You is as painful as the separation of our souls from our bodies. We cry out from our suffering, and our souls languish for the redemption of Your Shechinah. We plead and weep before You, L-rd, Merciful Father, over the exile of Your Shechinah. Save Your Shechinah, L-rd, and cleave our souls to Your pleasant and delightful love, for our nefesh, ruach, and neshamah. May our King be exalted in His palace. Amen. May it be Your will.
