Seder of Pesukim for Improving Memory

“Shnei Luchot HaBrit” presents a segula for improving memory.
The segula consists of reciting a specific order of Torah verses each morning.
1. Recite Tehillim 119:57 (“chet”), followed by the prayer “Yehi ratzon…,” whose text is not provided;
2. Recite:
“Ad-nai, Ad-nai, Ad-nai”;
3. Recite three times:
יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת עִמָּנוּ מִשְׂגָּב לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה
“Ad-nai Tzevaot imanu, misgav lanu, Elohei Yaakov, sela” —
(The L-rd of Hosts is with us, our stronghold—the G-d of Jacob. Selah);
יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם בֹּטֵחַ בָּךְ
“Ad-nai Tzevaot, ashrei adam bote’ach Bach” —
(The L-rd of Hosts, happy is the person who trusts in You);
יְהוָה הוֹשִׁיעָה הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיוֹם קָרְאֵנוּ
“Ad-nai hoshi’ah, Ha-Melech ya’anenu v’yom kor’einu” —
(L-rd, save us! May the King answer us on the day we call);
4. Recite Tehillim 91 three times
Then recite three times:
יְבָרֶכְךָ יְדֹוָד וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ: יָאֵר יְדֹוָד פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ וִיחֻנֶךָּ: יִשָּׂא יְדֹוָד פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם: וְשָׂמוּ אֶת שְׁמִי עַל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַאֲנִי אֲבָרְכֵם
— “Yevarechecha Ad-nai v’yishmerecha. Ya’er Ad-nai panav eilecha vichuneka. Yisa Ad-nai panav eilecha v’yasem lecha shalom! V’samu et Shmi al b’nei Yisrael va-Ani avarchem” —
(May the L-rd bless you and guard you. May the L-rd shine His countenance upon you and be gracious to you. May the L-rd lift His countenance toward you and grant you peace! Thus they shall place My Name upon the Children of Israel, and I will bless them);
5. Recite seven times:
מלאך אוריאל
“Malach Uriel” —
(Angel Uriel);
6. Recite seven times:
מלאך שמריאל
“Malach Shamriel” —
(Angel Shamriel);
7. Recite seven times:
מלאך ילואל
“Malach Yeluel” —
(Angel Yeluel);
8. Recite once:
שדי יתן לי רחמים בעיניך ובעיני כל הבריות
— “Shaddai yiten li rachamim b’einecha u-v’einei kol ha-briyot” —
(Shaddai, may I find mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all created beings);
9. Recite seven times:
לִישׁוּעָתְךָ קִוִּיתִי יְהוָה
“Lishuatcha kiviti Ad-nai” —
(I hope for Your salvation, L-rd);
10. Recite seven times:
גָּד גְּדוּד יְגוּדֶנּוּ וְהוּא יָגֻד עָקֵב
— “Gad gedud yegudenu v’hu yagud akev” —
(Gad—a troop shall troop upon him, but he shall troop upon their heel);
11. Recite Tehillim 20 seven times:
“May the L-rd answer you on the day of distress…”;
12. Recite Tehillim 121 once:
“I lift my eyes to the mountains…”
