Transliteration

(1) lamnatzeach ledavid lehazkir

(2) elohim lehatzileni Ado-nai leezrati chusha

(3) yevoshu veyachperu mevakshei nafshi yisogu achor veyikalmu chafetzei raati

(4) yashuvu al-ekev bashtam haomrim heach heach

(5) yasisu veyismechu bekha kal-mevaksheikha veyomru tamid yigdal elohim ohavei yeshuatekha

(6) vaani ani veevyon elohim chusha-li ezri umfalti ata Ado-nai al-teachar

Translation

(1) For the Leader. [A Psalm] of David; to make memorial.

(2) O God, to deliver me, O LORD, to help me, make haste.

(3) Let them be ashamed and abashed That seek after my soul; Let them be turned backward and brought to confusion That delight in my hurt.

(4) Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say: 'Aha, aha.'

(5) Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; And let such as love Thy salvation say continually: 'Let God be magnified.'

(6) But I am poor and needy; O God, make haste unto me; Thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, tarry not.

א לַ֝מְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָוִ֥ד לְהַזְכִּֽיר׃ ב אֱלֹהִ֥ים לְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָֽׁה׃ ג יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ֮ מְבַקְשֵׁ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָ֭חוֹר וְיִכָּלְמ֑וּ חֲ֝פֵצֵ֗י רָעָתִֽי׃ ד יָ֭שׁוּבוּ עַל־עֵ֣קֶב בָּשְׁתָּ֑ם הָ֝אֹמְרִ֗ים הֶ֘אָ֥ח ׀ הֶאָֽח׃ ה יָ֘שִׂ֤ישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ ׀ בְּךָ֗ כָּֽל־מְבַ֫קְשֶׁ֥יךָ וְיֹאמְר֣וּ תָ֭מִיד יִגְדַּ֣ל אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֹ֝הֲבֵ֗י יְשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃ ו וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ עָנִ֣י וְאֶבְיוֹן֮ אֱלֹהִ֪ים חֽוּשָׁ֫ה־לִּ֥י עֶזְרִ֣י וּמְפַלְטִ֣י אַ֑תָּה יְ֝הוָ֗ה אַל־תְּאַחַֽר׃
