Prayer to Sweeten the Heavenly Judgment by Rabbi Aharon Roth
Prayer to Sweeten the Heavenly Judgment by Rabbi Aharon Roth
It is written in the book "Shomer Emunim" by the holy Rabbi Aharon Roth, that it is good to recite the Tefillah le-Hamtakat Dinim (for the sweetening of Heavenly judgments) and to know this text by heart - especially if one gets into the habit of saying it on every occasion, even a minor one. For the delight this brings to the Holy One, blessed be He, and the joy it brings throughout all the worlds, is immeasurable.
For such is the way of our G-d: He sends a person tests of faith, and if his faith in the L-rd grows stronger, then even if, G-d forbid, a harsh decree hangs over him, it will be sweetened.
Prayer for Sweetening Heavenly Judgments

Translation
I believe with complete faith that this trouble and these sufferings were sent to me by the personal providence of the L-rd, may He be blessed, and I accept them with love, and all this happened to me because of my many transgressions, and You, L-rd, are righteous in all that has befallen me, for You have acted with truth, and I have been wicked. And may it be Your will that these sufferings serve as atonement for my many transgressions. And indeed, by strict justice I ought to enumerate, repent, and confess the sin and transgression on account of which these sufferings came upon me. But it is revealed and known before You that I do not know for what exactly, therefore may it be Your will, my Father in Heaven, that You erase and uproot the sin, transgression, and iniquity that brought these sufferings upon me, and may all judgments upon me and upon all Israel be sweetened, and may all the holy combinations of letters and words be turned to good and draw down good and revealed kindnesses upon us and upon the whole House of Israel forever.
Kabbalists advise reciting this prayer together with Tehillim 83.
