Tehillim 135 with a Special Prayer Invoking the Names of Angels for Teshuvah
«Shimush Tehillim» presents Psalm 135 as a segula for repentance and teshuvah.
For this purpose, Tehillim 135 x 3 times a day—in Shacharit, Mincha, and Arvit.
But «Shimush Tehillim ha-Kadmon» (an older version of this manuscript) offers another powerful recitation of this psalm, together with a special prayer for teshuvah.
First, one should recite

פתחיאל שמעיאל קשוביה אדוניאל יופיאל יהואל אתם מלאכים קדושים השמיעו תחנתי לפני הבורא יתברך שמו שיקבלני בתשובה שלימה לפניו ויקבל ברצון תעניתי
ותפלתי ויכנסו לפני כסא כבודו אא"א ננ"ג סס"ס וו"ו.
«Petachiel, Shemaiel, Kashuvya, Adoniel, Yofiel, Yehoel—atem malakhim kedoshim, hashmi'u techinati lifnei ha-Bore, Yitbarach Shemo, she-yekabeleni bi-teshuvah shelemah lefanav, ve-yekabel beratzon ta'aniti ve-tefilati ve-yikansu lifnei Kisei Kevodo.
