Segula for Abundance from the Hidden Tzadik of Our Generation
Segula for Abundance from the Hidden Tzadik of Our Generation
A rare segula for abundance, blessing, and good fortune, passed down by the hidden righteous man of our generation during these difficult days for the Jewish people.
The segula consists of five parts, which should be recited daily—preferably all five parts together—for at least 40 days.
1. Read chapter 32 of the Book of Devarim (the Haazinu portion):
HA'AZINU HASHAMAYIM VAADABERA VETISHMA HAARETZ IMRE-FI. 2. YAAROF KAMATAR LIKCHI TIZAL KATAL IMRATI KISIRIM ALEI-DESHE VECHIRVIVIM ALEI-ESEV. 3. KI SHEM AD-NAI EKRA HAVU GODEL LELOHEINU. 4. HATZUR TAMIM PAOLO KI CHOL-DERACHAV MISHPAT EL EMUNAH VE'EIN AVEL TZADIK VEYASHAR HU. 5. SHICHET LO LO BANAV MUMAM DOR IKEISH UFTALTOL. 6. HA LADONAI TIGMELU-ZOT AM NAVAL VELO CHACHAM HALO-HU AVICHA KANECHA HU ASECHA VAYCHONENECHA.
“Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. 2. May my teaching drop like rain, may my speech flow like dew, like rain showers on the grass and like raindrops on the herb. 3. When I proclaim the Name of the L-rd, ascribe greatness to our G-d. 4. The Rock—His work is perfect, for all His ways are justice; a faithful G-d, without injustice, righteous and upright is He. 5. Corruption is not His; His children's defect is their own, a crooked and twisted generation. 6. Is this how you repay the L-rd, foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, your Creator? He made you and established you.”
7. ZECHOR YEMOT OLAM BINU SHENOT DOR VADOR SHEAL AVICHA VEYAGEDCHA ZEKENECHA VEYOMERU LACH. 8. BEHANChEL ELYON GOYIM BEHAFRIDO BENEI ADAM YATZEV GEVULOT AMIM LEMISPAR BENEI YISRAEL. 9. KI CHELEK AD-NAI AMO YAAKOV CHEVEL NACHALATO. 10. YIMTZA'EHU BEERETZ MIDBAR UVTOHU YELEL YESHIMON YESOVEVENU YEVONENENU YITZRENENU KEISHON ENO. 11. KENESHER YA'IR KINO AL-GOZALAV YERACHEF YIFROS KENAFAV YIKACHEHU YISA'EHU AL-EVRATO. AD-NAI BADAD YANCHENU VE'EIN IMO EL NECHAR.
7. Remember the days of old; consider the years of bygone generations. Ask your father, and he will tell you; your elders, and they will speak to you. 8. When the Most High gave nations their inheritance, when He separated the children of man, He set the boundaries of peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. 9. For the portion of the L-rd is His people; Jacob is the measure of His inheritance. 10. He found him in a desert land, in an empty, howling wasteland; He surrounded him, instructed him, guarded him like the pupil of His eye. 11. Like an eagle rousing its nest, hovering over its young, spreading its wings, taking them and carrying them on its pinions. 12. The L-rd alone guided him, and no foreign deity was with him.
13. YARKIVEHU AL-BAMOTEI ARETZ VAYOCHAL TENUVOТ SADAИ VAYENIKEHU DEVASH MISELA VESHEMEN MECHALMISH TZUR. 14. CHEMAT BAKAR VACHALAV TZON IM-CHELEV KARIM VE'ELIM BENEI-VASHAN VEATUDIM IM-CHELEV KILYOT CHITAH VEDAM-ENAV TISHTE-CHAMER. 15. VAYISHMAN YESHURUN VAYIVAT SHAMANTA AVITA KASITA VAYITOSH ELOHA ASAУ VAYNABEL TZUR YESHUATO. 16. YAKNIUHU BEZARIM BETOEVOТ YACHISUHU. 17. YIZBECHU LASHEDIM LO ELOHA ELOHIM LO YEDAUM CHADASHIM MIKAROV BAU LO SEARUM AVOTEICHEM. 18. TZUR YELEDECHA TESHI VATISHKACH EL MECHOLELECHA.
13. He set him atop the heights of the earth, and he ate the produce of the fields; He fed him honey from the rock and oil from the flinty rock, 14. curds of cattle and milk of sheep, with the fat of lambs, rams of Bashan and goats, with the choicest wheat; and you drank the blood of grapes, foaming wine. 15. Jeshurun grew fat and kicked; you grew fat, thick, and sleek. He forsook the G-d who made him and spurned the Rock of his salvation. 16. They provoked Him with alien things; with their abominations they angered Him. 17. They sacrificed to demons, no-gods, deities they had not known, new ones that came but recently, whom your fathers never worshiped. 18. You neglected the Rock who gave you birth and forgot the G-d who brought you forth.
19. VAYAR AD-NAI VAYINATZ MIKAAS BANAV UVNOTAV. 20. VAYOMER PANAI ASTIRA MEHEM EREH MA ACHARITAM KI DOR TAHPUCHOT HEMAH BANIM LO-EMUN BAM. 21. HEM KINUNI VELO-EL KIASUNI BEHAVLEHEM VAANI AKNIEM BELO-AM BEGOY NAVAL AACHISEM. 22. KI-ESH KADECHA VEAPI VATIKAD AD-SHEOL TACHTIT VATOCHAL ERETZ VIVULAH VATELAHEТ MOSEDEI HARIM. 23. ASPЕ ALEMO RAOT CHITZAI ACHALE-BAM. 24. MEZE RAAV ULCHUMEI RESHEF VEKETEВ MERIRI VESHEN-BEHEМОТ ASHACH-BAM IM-CHAMAT ZOCHALEI AFAR. 25. MICHUTZ TESHAKEL-CHEREV UMECHADARIM EIMA GAM-BACHUR GAM-BETULAH YONEK IM-ISH SEVA. 26. AMARTI AF'EHEM ASHBITA ME'ENOSH ZICHRAM. 27. LULE KAAS OYEV AGUR PEN-YENAСERU TZAREMO PEN-YOMERU YADENU RAMAH VELO AD-NAI PAAL KOL-ZOT. 28. KI-GOY OVAD ETZOT HEMAH VE'EIN BAHEM TEVUNAH.
19. The L-rd saw this and spurned them, provoked by His sons and daughters. 20. He said: I will hide My face from them; I will see what their end shall be. For they are a fickle generation, children in whom there is no trust. 21. They have provoked Me with a no-god, vexed Me with their empty idols; I, in turn, will provoke them with a no-people, vex them with a nation of fools. 22. For a fire has flared in My anger and burned to the depths of Sheol; it has consumed the earth and its produce and set the foundations of the mountains ablaze. 23. I will heap misfortunes upon them; My arrows I will spend against them. 24. Wasted by famine, ravaged by plague and bitter destruction, I will send the fangs of beasts against them, with the venom of creatures that crawl in the dust. 25. The sword shall bereave them without, and terror within—youth and maiden, suckling and graybeard. 26. I might have said: I will make an end of them, blot out their memory from among men. 27. But for the anger of the enemy, lest their foes misjudge and say, “Our own hand has prevailed; none of this was wrought by the L-rd.” 28. For they are a senseless nation, lacking in understanding.
29. LU CHACHAMU YASKILU ZOT YAVINU LEACHARITAM. 30. EICHA YIRDОF ECHAD ELEF USHNAYIM YANISU REVAVAH IM-LO KI-TZURAM MECHARAM VAD-NAI HISGIRAM. 31. KI LO CHETZURENU TZURAM VE-OYEVENU PELILIM. 32. KI-MIGEFEN SEDOM GAFNAM UMISHDOT AMORAH ANAVEMO INVEI-ROSH ESHKELOT MEROROT LAMO. 33. CHAMAT TANINIM YENAM VEROШ PETANIM ACHZAR. 34. HALO-HU KAMUS IMADI CHATUM BEOTZEROTAI. 35. LI NAKAM VESHILEM LE'ET TAMUT RAGLAM KI KAROV YOM EIDAM VECHASH ATIDOT LAMO. 36. KI-YADIN AD-NAI AMO VEAL-AVADAV YITNECHAM KI YIR'E KI-AZLAT YAD VE'EFES ATZUR VEAZUV. VEAMAR É ELOHEIMO TZUR CHASAYU VO. 38. ASHER CHELEV ZEVACHEMO YOCHЕLU YISHTU YEIN NESICHEM YAKUMU VEYAZERUHEM YEHI ALEHEM SITRA. 39. REU ATA KI ANI ANI HU VE'EIN ELOHIM IMADI ANI AMIT VAACHAYE MACHATZTI VAANI ERPА VE'EIN MIYADI MATZIL.
29. If only they were wise, they would understand this; they would discern their future. 30. How could one chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the L-rd had given them up? 31. For their rock is not like our Rock, yet our enemies are judges. 32. For their vine is from the vine of Sodom, from the fields of Gomorrah; their grapes are grapes of poison, their clusters bitter. 33. Their wine is the venom of serpents, the cruel poison of vipers. 34. Is it not stored up with Me, sealed in My treasuries? 35. Vengeance is Mine and recompense, for their foot shall falter; indeed, their day of calamity is near, and destiny hastens upon them. 36. For the L-rd will vindicate His people and take vengeance for His servants when He sees that their might is gone and none remains, bond or free. 37. Then He will say: Where are their gods, the rock in which they trusted? 38. Those who ate the fat of their sacrifices and drank the wine of their libations—let them rise and help you; let them be a shelter over you! 39. See now that I, I am He; there is no god beside Me. I deal death and give life; I wound and I heal; none can deliver from My hand.
40. KI-ESA EL-SHAMAYIM YADI VEAMARTI CHAI ANOCHI LEOLAM. 41. IM-SHANOTI BERAK CHARBI VETOCHЕZ BEMISHPAT YADI ASHIV NAKAM LETZARAI VELIMSANAI ASHALEM. 42. ASHKIR CHITZAI MIDAM VECHARBI TOCHAL BASAR MIDAM CHALAL VESHIVYAH MEROSH PAROT OYEV. 43. HARNINU GOYIM AMO KI DAM-AVADAV YIKOM VENAKAM YASHIV LETZARAV VECHIPER ADMATО AMO.
40. For I raise My hand to heaven and say: As I live forever, 41. when I sharpen My flashing sword and My hand grasps judgment, I will wreak vengeance on My foes and repay those who hate Me. 42. I will make My arrows drunk with blood, and My sword shall devour flesh—with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the long-haired heads of the enemy. 43. O nations, acclaim His people! For He will avenge the blood of His servants, wreak vengeance on His foes, and cleanse the land of His people.
44. VAYAVO MOSHE VAYEDABER ET-KOL DIVRE HASHIRAH-HAZOT BEOZNEI HAAM HU VEHOSHEA BIN-NUN. 45. VAYECHAL MOSHE LEDABER ET-KOL-HADEVARIM HAELE EL-KOL YISRAEL. 46. KI LO-DAVAR REK HU MIKEM KI-HU CHAYEICHEM UVADAVAR HAZEH TAARICHU YAMIM AL-HAADAMAH ASHER ATEM OVRIM ET-HAYARDEN SHAMAH LERISHTAH.
44. Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he and Hoshea son of Nun. 45. When Moses finished speaking all these words to all Israel, 46. he said to them: Take to heart all the words with which I warn you this day, so that you may enjoin them upon your children faithfully to observe all the words of this Torah. 47. For this is no trifling matter for you: it is your very life, and by this you shall long endure on the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.
48. VAYEDABER AD-NAI EL-MOSHE BEETZEM HAYOM HAZEH LEMOR. 49. ALE EL-HAR HAAVARIM HAZEH HAR NEVO ASHER BEERETZ MOAV ASHER AL-PENEI YERECHO URE'EH ET-ERETZ KENAAN ASHER ANI NOTEN LIVNEI YISRAEL LAACHUZAH. 50. KI MINEGED TIR'E ET-HAARETZ VESHAMAH LO TAVO EL-HAARETZ ASHER-ANI NOTEN LIVNEI YISRAEL.
48. The L-rd spoke to Moses that very day: 49. Ascend these heights of Abarim to Mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab opposite Jericho, and behold the land of Canaan, which I am giving the Israelites as their holding. 50. You shall die on the mountain that you are about to ascend and be gathered to your kin, as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his kin. 51. For you both broke faith with Me among the Israelite people at the waters of Meribat-kadesh in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not uphold My sanctity among the Israelite people. 52. You may view the land from a distance, but you shall not enter it—the land that I am giving to the Israelite people.”2. Read the following chapters of Tehillim:
23, 24, 25, 37, 71, 86, 90, 91, 148, 150.
3. Study daily the teaching of the holy Baal Shem Tov:“Shiviti Ad-Нai lenegdi tamid.” (Tehillim 16:8)
“Shiviti” comes from the word “hishtavut.” Whatever happens to him, everything is equal in his eyes. Whether people praise him or disgrace him, whatever happens to him, he should say: “Surely this too comes from Him, may He be blessed.” This is a great principle: regarding everything that happens to him, he should think that it comes from Him, may He be blessed. He should cast all his affairs and needs upon Him, may He be blessed. He should always think that the Creator of the World fills the entire earth with His glory, and that He is Lord over all the works of creation. He can do everything I desire. Therefore, it is not fitting for me to place my trust in anything except Him, may He be blessed. He should always be joyful and think and believe with complete faith that the Shechinah is with him and protects him. He looks toward the Creator, may He be blessed, and the Creator, may He be blessed, looks toward him.”
Translation:“I have set the L-rd before me always.” “Shiviti” (I have set before me) comes from the word “hishtavut”—equanimity. Whatever happens to him on any day, it is all the same to him, whether people praise him or shame him. Regarding everything that happens to him, he says: “Surely this comes from Him, the Blessed One.” This is a great principle: regarding everything that happens, one should think that it comes from Him, the Blessed One. He should place all his affairs and troubles in His hands, the Blessed One. He should always think that the entire earth is filled with His glory, and that He is Master over all the creations in the world. He can do everything I desire. Therefore, it is not fitting for me to trust in anything except Him, the Blessed One.” He should always be joyful and believe with complete faith that the Shechinah rests upon him and protects him. He looks toward G-d, and G-d looks toward him.”
4. Recite every day the prayer of Rabbi Natan of Breslov:
“Yehi ratzon milfanecha Ha-Shem Eloheinu ve-Elohei avoteinu, sheterachem aleinu ve'al kol amcha Beit Yisrael, vetita emunatecha belibenu. Venizkeh lehaamin becha be'emuna shelemah. Venizkeh berachamecha harabim, shetihye emunatenu chazakah kol kach, ke'ilu rainu be'eineinu Elohutcha vehashgachatcha uKevodecha asher male kol haolam. Uchaasher Atah Elohim Emet, ken nizkeh lehaamin Becha be'emet, ad shenizkeh lehargish Elohutcha aleinu velo nishkach Otcha leolam!”
Translation:
“May it be Your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our fathers, that You have compassion on us and on all Your people, the House of Israel, and plant faith in You within our hearts, so that we may merit believing in You with complete faith. May our faith be pure and sound, clear and unblemished, without any flaw or confusion in the world, Heaven forbid. May we merit, through Your abundant compassion, that our faith be so strong that it is as if we see with our own eyes Your Divinity, Your Providence, and Your glory, which fills the entire world. And when we become certain that You are the G-d of Truth, may we merit believing in You truly, until we merit feeling Your Divinity upon us and never forgetting You!”
5. Recite every day the prayer of the holy Rabbi Aharon Roth for the mitigation of Heavenly judgments:
Translation
I believe with complete faith that this trouble and these sufferings that have come upon me were sent through the Divine Providence of the L-rd, may He be blessed. I accept them upon myself with love, and all this has come upon me because of my many sins. You, L-rd, are righteous concerning all that has happened to me, for You have acted truthfully, while I have done wrong. May it be Your will that these sufferings serve as an atonement for my many sins. According to the law of justice, I should enumerate, repent, and confess the sins and transgressions on account of which these sufferings have come upon me. But it is revealed and known before You that I do not know exactly what they are. Therefore, may it be Your will, my Heavenly Father, that You erase and uproot the sins, iniquities, and transgressions that brought these sufferings upon me; that all judgments against me and against all Israel be sweetened; that all the holy combinations be transformed for the good; and that abundant and revealed kindnesses be drawn down upon us and upon the entire House of Israel forever. Amen.
