רִבּוֹנוֹ שֶׁל עוֹלָם, אָבִי אָב הָרַחֲמָן, מָלֵא רַחֲמִים. אֲנָּא זַכֵּנִי לֶאֱמוּנַת חֲכָמִים, לְהַאֲמִין בַּחֲכָמִים אֱמִתִּיִּים בֶּאֱמוּנָה זַכָּה וּבְרוּרָה בְּשׁלֵמוּת, וְלֹא אֶחְלֹק חַס וְשָׁלוֹם עַל שׁוּם צַדִּיק אֱמִתִּי — לֹא בְּמַחֲשָׁבָה, לֹא בְּדִבּוּר, וְלֹא בְּמַעֲשֶׂה. וְזַכֵּנִי לְדָבוּק בְּצַדִּיקִים אֱמִתִּיִּים לְנֶצַח נְצָחִים, וְלֹא יַעֲכֹב בְּעָדִי כָּל מוֹנֵעַ וּמַעֲכֵב מִלִּדְבֹּק בָּהֶם בֶּאֱמֶת, וּלְקַבֵּל מִדַּעְתָּם הַקְּדוֹשָׁה. וְהַמְשֵׁךְ עָלַי בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ שֶׁפַע רָב מִלְמַעְלָה. אָב רַחֲמָן, זַכֵּנִי בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ לְקַיֵּם הַתּוֹרָה וְהַמִּצְוֹת לְפָנֶיךָ לְשֵׁם שָׁמַיִם. וְהָקֵם בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן, וְהַשְׁרֵה שְׁכִינָתְךָ עָלֵינוּ, וְתָמְתֵּק כָּל הַדִּינִים וּגְזֵרוֹת רָעוֹת מִן הָעוֹלָם, וְהַמְשֵׁךְ רַחֲמִים וַחֲסָדִים עַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּכָל מָקוֹם שֶׁהֵם. אֲנָּא זַכֵּנִי שֶׁיִּבְעַר לִבִּי אֵלֶיךָ יִתְבָּרַךְ שִׁמְךָ בְּשַׁלְהֶבֶת קֹדֶשׁ, וְאַפְרִשָׁה לְפָנֶיךָ כָּל לִבִּי בְּדִבּוּר פִּי, וְאֶזְכֶּה לְהַתִּישׁ בְּזֶה אֶת כֹּחַ הַבַּעַל דָּבָר (סוֹפֵי תֵּבוֹת “שַׁלְהֶבֶת קֹדֶשׁ” עוֹלֶה “תַּשׁ”), עַד שֶׁלֹּא יִהְיֶה בִּי כָּל דָּבָר וְעִנְיָן רַע שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם לְהָרֵעַ לִי וּלְהָצֵר בִּי, וְאֶזְכֶּה לִהְיוֹת בְּשַׁלְהֶבֶת קֹדֶשׁ הַבּוֹעֶרֶת אֵלֶיךָ תָּמִיד וְאֵינָהּ פּוֹסֶקֶת לְעוֹלָם. מָלֵא רַחֲמִים, חֲזֵה צִיּוֹן קִרְיַת מוֹעֲדֵנוּ, עֵינֶיךָ תִּרְאֶינָה יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, וּפְקֹד בְּרַחֲמֶיךָ עִיר קָדְשְׁךָ, וְשׁוּב נָא אֵלֶיהָ בְּרַחֲמִים. אֲנָּא הֵיטִיבָה בִּרְצוֹנְךָ אֶת צִיּוֹן, תִּבְנֶה חוֹמוֹת יְרוּשָׁלַיִם, וְתָעוֹרֵר זְכוּת שְׁלֹמֹה הַמֶּלֶךְ בֶּן דָּוִד שֶׁבָּנָה לְךָ אֶת בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, וְיִתְעוֹרְרוּ רַחֲמִים עֶלְיוֹנִים מִלְּפָנֶיךָ וְתִבְנֶה אֶת בֵּית קָדְשֵׁנוּ וְתִפְאָרְתֵּנוּ. אֲנָּא דְּחֵה וּבַטֵּל כָּל גַּאֲוָה וְרוּמוּת רוּחַ מִן הָעוֹלָם הַמְעַכְּבִים בְּעָדֵנוּ מִגְּאֻלָּתֵנוּ וּפְדוּת נַפְשֵׁנוּ, כַּאֲשֶׁר גִּלִּיתָ לָנוּ עַל יְדֵי חֲכָמֶיךָ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים שֶׁאֵין בֶּן דָּוִד בָּא עַד שֶׁתִּכְלֶה הַגַּאֲוָה מִן הָעוֹלָם. וְעוֹרֵר נָא עָלֵינוּ בִּנְגֶד זֶה זְכוּת רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ רַבִּי יְהוּדָה הַנָּשִׂיא שֶׁהָיוּ בְּיָמָיו עֲנָוָה וְיִרְאַת חֵטְא. וְיִסְיַּעוּ בְּעָדֵנוּ שְׁלֹמֹה הַמֶּלֶךְ וְרַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ רַבִּי יְהוּדָה הַנָּשִׂיא לָלֶכֶת בְּדֶרֶךְ קָדְשָׁם, וְנִזְכֶּה בְּקָרוֹב מַמָּשׁ לְבִיאַת מָשִׁיחַ צִדְקֵנוּ, וּלְאוֹר שֶׁיִּפָּצוּ בְּכָל הָעוֹלָם כֻּלּוֹ, וְיַעֲרוֹר אֶת כָּל נִשְׁמוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל אֵלֶיךָ יִתְבָּרַךְ שִׁמְךָ, בְּרַחֲמִים וַחֲסָדִים, מִתּוֹךְ שִׂמְחָה וְטוּב לֵבָב. אָמֵן נֶצַח סֶלָה וָעֶד   Prayer Ribono shel Olam, Avi Av ha-Rachaman, malei rachamim. Ana zakeni le-emunat chachamim, leha'amin ba-chachamim amiti'im be-emunah zakah u-verurah be-shleimut, ve-lo echlok chas ve-shalom al shum tzadik amiti — lo be-machshavah, lo be-dibur, ve-lo be-ma'aseh. Ve-zakeni le-davok be-tzadikim amiti'im le-netzach netzachim, ve-lo ya'akov be'adi kol mone'a u-ma'akev mi-lidbok bahem be'emet, u-lekabel mi-da'atam ha-kedoshah. Ve-hamshech alai be-rachamecha shefa rav mil-ma'alah. Av ha-Rachaman, zakeni be-rachamecha le-kayem ha-Torah ve-ha-mitzvot le-fanecha le-shem Shamayim. Ve-hakem be-rachamecha et ha-Mishkan, ve-hashreh Shechinatecha aleinu, ve-tamtek kol ha-dinim u-gezerot ra'ot min ha-olam, ve-hamshech rachamim va-chasadim al kol Yisrael be-chol makom she-hem. Ana zakeni she-yiv'ar libi eleicha, yitbarach Shimcha, be-shalhevet kodesh, ve-afrishah le-fanecha kol libi be-dibur pi, ve-ezkeh le-hatish be-zeh et koach ha-ba'al davar (sofei tevot שלהבת קודש “holy flame” olim “תש,” tash — to weaken), ad she-lo yihyeh bi kol davar ve-inyan ra she-ba-olam le-harei li u-le-hatzir bi, ve-ezkeh lihyot be-shalhevet kodesh ha-bo'eret eleicha tamid ve-einah poseket le-olam. Malei rachamim, chazeh Tzion, Kiryat Mo'adenu, einecha tir'enah Yerushalayim, u-fkod be-rachamecha ir kodshecha, ve-shuv na eleiha be-rachamim. Ana haitivah bi-retzonecha et Tzion, tivneh chomot Yerushalayim, ve-ta'orer zechut Shlomo ha-Melech ben David she-banah lecha et Beit ha-Mikdash, ve-yitor'еру rachamim elyonim mi-lefanecha ve-tivneh et Beit Kodsheinu ve-Tifarteinu. Ana deche u-vatel kol ga'avah ve-romemut ruach min ha-olam ha-me'akvim be'adenu mi-ge'ulateinu u-fdut nafsheinu, ka'asher gilita lanu al yedei chachamecha ha-kedoshim she-ein Ben David ba ad she-tichleh ha-ga'avah min ha-olam. Ve-orer na aleinu be-neged zeh zechut Rabbeinu ha-Kadosh, Rabbi Yehudah ha-Nasi, she-hayu be-yamav anavah ve-yirat chet. Ve-yisa'u be'adenu Shlomo ha-Melech ve-Rabbeinu ha-Kadosh, Rabbi Yehudah ha-Nasi, lalekhet be-derech kodsham, ve-nizkeh be-karov mamash le-vi'at Mashiach tzidkeinu, u-le-or she-yafutz be-chol ha-olam kulo, ve-ya'orer et kol nishmot Yisrael eleicha, yitbarach Shimcha, be-rachamim ve-chasadim, mi-toch simchah ve-tuv levav. Amen, netzach, selah, va'ed.   Translation (L-rd of the universe, my Father, compassionate Father, full of mercy! Please grant me faith in the Sages—a pure, clear, and wholehearted faith in the true tzadikim. May I never, G-d forbid, dispute any true tzadik—in thought, speech, or deed. Grant me the merit of cleaving to true tzadikim forever, so that nothing and no one may prevent me from truly remaining connected to them and receiving their holy knowledge. Send me, in Your mercy, abundant blessing from Above. Compassionate Father, grant me the merit of fulfilling the Torah and mitzvot before You for the sake of Heaven. In Your mercy, raise up the Mishkan (Sanctuary), rest Your Presence among us, sweeten all harsh judgments and evil decrees in this world, and pour mercy and kindness upon all of Israel, wherever they may be. Please grant me the merit that my heart may burn for You, blessed be Your Name, with a holy flame; that I may pour out my entire heart before You through the words of my mouth; and that I may thereby weaken the power of the evil inclination (the final letters of שלהבת קודש «holy flame» form the word תש «tash» (to weaken)), so that it will have no power to harm me or obstruct me. May I merit to remain always in the holy flame that burns for You and never goes out. Full of mercy, behold Zion, the city of our appointed gatherings; may Your eyes behold Jerusalem. In Your mercy, remember Your holy city and return to it with compassion. Please, in accordance with Your will, bestow goodness upon Zion and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Awaken the merit of King Solomon, son of David, who built the Temple for You; may the supernal mercies before You be aroused, and may You rebuild the Temple of our holiness and glory. Please remove and abolish all arrogance and haughtiness from the world, for they hold back our redemption and the salvation of our souls, as Your holy Sages revealed to us: the son of David (Mashiach) will not come until arrogance disappears from the world. In opposition to this, awaken for us the merit of Rabbeinu ha-Kadosh, Rabbi Yehudah ha-Nasi, in whose time there were humility and fear of sin. May King Solomon and Rabbeinu ha-Kadosh, Rabbi Yehudah ha-Nasi, assist us in following their holy path. May we soon merit the coming of our righteous Mashiach and the spread of Your light throughout the entire world. May he awaken all the souls of Israel to You, blessed be Your Name, with mercy and kindness, with joy and a good heart. Amen. Forever, eternally and evermore.)
