Tehillim 131

Transliteration

(1) shir hamaalot ledavid Ado-nai lo-gavah libi velo-ramu einai velo-hilakhti bigdolot uvniflaot mimeni

(2) im-lo shiviti vedomamti nafshi kegamul alei imo kagamul alai nafshi

(3) yachel yisrael el-Ado-nai meata vead-olam

Translation

(1) A Song of Ascents; of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in things too great, or in things too wonderful for me.

(2) Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother; My soul is with me like a weaned child.

(3) O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and for ever.

א שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּֽעֲל֗וֹת לְדָ֫וִ֥ד יְהוָ֤ה ׀ לֹא־גָבַ֣הּ לִ֭בִּי וְלֹא־רָמ֣וּ עֵינַ֑י וְלֹֽא־הִלַּ֓כְתִּי ׀ בִּגְדֹל֖וֹת וּבְנִפְלָא֣וֹת מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ ב אִם־לֹ֤א שִׁוִּ֨יתִי ׀ וְדוֹמַ֗מְתִּי נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י כְּ֭גָמֻל עֲלֵ֣י אִמּ֑וֹ כַּגָּמֻ֖ל עָלַ֣י נַפְשִֽׁי׃ ג יַחֵ֣ל יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוָ֑ה מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃
