Rabbi Avraham Chamoy - "Yemalet Nafsho"
Torah Study – Segulot
1. Tehillim 103
Rabbi Avraham Chamoy in his book "Yemalet Nafsho" reveals that Psalm 103 connects our soul to the body.
The soul consists of 248 parts, and the body consists of 248 organs, corresponding to the 248 mitzvot. The soul is connected to the body through the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which serve as channels linking the 248 organs to the 248 parts of the soul. When this connection is severed and the letter-channels ascend, a person dies.
Through the secret of the 22 letters of the alphabet, a person can be revived. Every tzadik mentioned in the Talmud was able to revive the dead - otherwise his name would not have been immortalized in the Talmud.
Rabbi Avraham Chamoy - a great mekubal - teaches that Psalm 103 strengthens the connection between the soul and the body.
When a person is seriously ill, this psalm helps restore the balance, bring the soul back to the body (preventing it from departing), and restore health.
But it also helps with spiritual elevation, when a person becomes lazy about performing mitzvot and is drawn toward material pleasures. When a person falls in his service of the Creator, Psalm 103 should be recited.

The mekubal Rabbi Avraham Chamoy writes in his book "Yemalet Nafsho" that when seeing off a loved one on a journey, one should recite Tehillim 121 for their protection along the way; 4. The Secret of the 22 Letters of the Alphabet It is known from the Midrashim that our world was created with the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The Torah, written with these 22 Hebrew letters, is the genetic code of the universe. Rabbi Avraham Chamoy, in his book "Yemalet Nafsho," reveals that the soul is connected to the body through the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet, which serve as channels linking the 248 organs to the 248 parts of the soul. When this connection is severed and the letter-channels ascend, a person dies. Through the secret of the 22 letters of the alphabet, a person can be revived. We already know that the world was created with the 22 letters of the alphabet, but it should also be remembered that 5 of them, which have final forms, are called םןץףך - ManTzePaCh - and they symbolize 5 courts of judgment. If we add up the gematria of these letters, we get the number 280 - "par" פר. All illnesses come from "par dinim" (280 courts of judgment) - the source of all illness. And all of them stem from a person's transgressions - one sins, and opens a channel for negative forces - "par dinim." To change the situation, the letters must be raised to the source of all letters, the root of the alphabet, the letter א - and if the letters פר are raised to the source - א, we get the word - רפא (healer). When the judgments are raised to their root, healing comes. Tehillim 119 - the correspondence of the letters to the organs 5. A Segula against Fear, the Evil Eye, and Epilepsy Take a plain sheet of unlined paper - in the middle write the numbers: 18 14 11 22 63 4 3 4 2 8 7 63 Place the paper on a plate and set it alight - while it burns, envelop the person in the smoke - from head to toe - the person should breathe in this smoke; if it goes out before fully burning, light it again. 6. Figs for Hair Loss Before going to sleep at night, apply to the head (the area of hair loss) a mixture of crushed dried fig leaves and honey. This is because Adam's sin was that he tasted of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge (Da'at), and hair is a remnant of the Moach (brain). (based on the lessons of Rav Israel Yakobov for "Sila Tehilim")
