A few quotes from "Love of Israel":
"Those who have a willing heart have the privilege of experiencing the pleasure of Shabbat in this world.
Only if a person merits feeling the pleasure of the Shabbat day in this world, thereby attaining the aspect of the Shabbat neshama yeteira [additional soul], only then will that person also merit enjoying the pleasures of 'the day that is entirely Shabbat' – the World to Come. Indeed, one who has a willing heart can sense the joy and sweetness of the Shabbat day, because on Shabbat the sky becomes brighter, the air in the world becomes purer, and people's faces become more beautiful and radiant, as stated in the midrash; everyone is more at peace on Shabbat. How could one not feel the pleasure of Shabbat…"
May the merit of the tzadik protect our people!
