10 Verses According to the Ramban Corresponding to the Ketoret
Rabbeinu Chida in "Shomer Yisrael" (5) cites the Ramban (Nachmanides), who writes that he cannot remain silent about the importance of reciting the following 10 verses of Tehillim daily (1 verse is from the Prophets).
These 10 verses correspond to the 10 attributes (sefirot) through which Ha-Shem governs this world.
These 10 verses contain exactly
91 words, which correspond to the gematria of the Name of Ha-Shem:
as written -
הויה - 26
and as pronounced -
אדנות - 65.
These verses contain
365 letters, corresponding to the
365 days of the year and the
weight of the Ketoret (Maneh) - "shelosh me'ot ve-shishim u-shemona manim."
The first letters of each verse spell out the Name of Ha-Shem (when the letters are spelled out in full) -
יוד הא ואו הא, and the last letters of the 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 10th verses are pronounced as the Name of Ha-Shem -
הויה.
Reciting these verses in this way will bring powerful protection to the one who recites them, favor in the eyes of others, and success in all endeavors.
