The "Akedat Yitzchak" with the Ben Ish Chai's Prayer in Aramaic

The "Akedat Yitzchak" with the Ben Ish Chai's Prayer in Aramaic

The "Akedat Yitzchak" with the Ben Ish Chai's Prayer in Aramaic

In the "Akedat Yitzchak" the Al-mighty addresses Avraham for the second time with the words: לך לך "lech lecha" (go for yourself) - the first time was when He commanded Avraham to leave his homeland. The gematria of לך לך "lech lecha" is 100. The holy Zohar reveals that in the "Akedat Yitzchak" exactly 100 keys are prepared for every Jew; by reciting this prayer, he opens the door he needs. One must pray with the proper kavanah on the words לך לך "lech lecha". The Ben Ish Chai writes that every person should recite a special formula in Aramaic before the "Akeda" prayer. And through this prayer-formula, recited every day, a person is saved from the curse that the Rashbi writes about in the "Idra Rabbah" (page 141, side 2). And Ha-Shem "withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly" (Tehillim 84:12).

May it be Your will to give us strength to awaken in the light of Your glory and to do Your will, and to arrange everything in proper order. And although we are unable to unite our desires and our hearts to accomplish everything, may it be Your will to favorably accept the words of our prayer, and that through it the proper rectification of the higher worlds be accomplished, and that the higher chambers and higher spirits ascend upward until they reach their proper places, as is fitting; and they will attain perfection in one another, and unite in complete oneness, illuminating one another. And then the supreme, all-encompassing soul will descend from above and illuminate us, so that all the candles will shine properly, until the Supreme Light awakens, and everything ascends into the Holy of Holies and is blessed and filled there, becoming like a wellspring of water, flowing eternally and never ceasing. And everything will be blessed above and below. And the One Who cannot be known or reckoned, Whose will remains forever incomprehensible, is sweetened and filled with the fragrance of incense from within. And that will cannot be known and cannot be grasped. And then all will unite in one endless will, complete both below and within, until in the end everything becomes One, is filled and reaches perfection, is illuminated with Light and infused with fragrance, as is fitting. Master of the world! May Your will be with Your people Israel forever, and reveal to Your people, in Your Holy Temple, the redemption sent by Your right hand, so that You grant us to enjoy the very best of Your Light and accept our prayer in Your mercy. And may it be Your will to support us and help us speak the words [of the prayer] sincerely, for the rectification of the higher spheres, for the sake of the Holy King and the Holy Lady [the Shechinah], to achieve perfect Unity and to draw up the Soul of All Life (Nishmat Kol Chai) from level to level, up to the very last of all levels, so that this Soul may spread throughout everything and dwell within everything, for upon it depend, and through it exist, both the higher and the lower worlds. Remember us favorably and turn to us from the eternal heights of heaven, granting salvation and mercy; and for our good, remember, L-rd our G-d, the love of the Patriarchs for You - Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yisrael, Your servants; and remember Your covenant, Your kindness, and the oath You swore to Avraham our father on Mount Moriah; and remember how he bound his son Yitzchak and placed him upon the altar. As it is written in Your Torah: And it came to pass after these events that G-d tested Avraham and said to him, "Avraham!" And he said, "Here I am!" And He said, "Please take your son, your only son, whom you love, Yitzchak, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you." And Avraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took with him his two young men and Yitzchak, his son; and he split wood for the burnt offering, and he arose and went to the place of which G-d had told him. On the third day, Avraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. And Avraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go over there; we will worship and then return to you." And Avraham took the wood for the burnt offering and laid it upon Yitzchak his son; and he took in his hand the fire and the knife, and the two of them went together. And Yitzchak said to Avraham his father, "My father!" And he said, "Here I am, my son." And [Yitzchak] said, "Here are the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?" And Avraham said, "G-d will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went together. And they came to the place of which G-d had told him, and Avraham built the altar there and arranged the wood, and bound Yitzchak his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Avraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slaughter his son. But the angel of the L-rd called to him from heaven and said, "Avraham, Avraham!" And he said, "Here I am." And he said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, and do nothing to him, for now I know that you fear G-d, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me." And Avraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by its horns. And Avraham went and took the ram and offered it up as a burnt offering instead of his son. And Avraham called the name of that place "The L-rd Will See"; as it is said to this day, "On the mountain of the L-rd it will be seen." And the angel of G-d called to Avraham a second time from heaven, and said, "By Myself I swear," declares the L-rd, "that because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens and as the sand on the seashore, and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. And in your descendants shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." And Avraham returned to his young men, and they arose and went together to Be'er Sheva; and Avraham dwelt in Be'er Sheva.

And so, in Your great mercy, remember for us the binding of our father Yitzchak, son of our father Avraham, peace be upon him, as though his ashes were gathered and placed upon the altar; and look upon these ashes to have mercy on us, and to annul from us all harsh and evil decrees, and grant us the merit to return to You in complete repentance.   (Master of the world! Just as Avraham our father overcame his mercy in order to fulfill Your will with a whole heart, so may Your mercy overcome Your anger. May Your mercy prevail over Your strict judgment. And be our advocate in judgment. And in Your great goodness, turn away Your wrath from Your people, from Your city, from Your land, and from Your inheritance, and fulfill for us, L-rd our G-d, that which You promised us in Your Torah, written by Moshe Your servant, as it is said: "And I will remember My covenant with Yaakov, and also My covenant with Yitzchak, and also My covenant with Avraham I will remember; and I will remember the Land.").   Segulot and the Hidden Meaning of the "Akedat Yitzchak" Prayer https://silatehilim.com/сгулот-и-тайный-смысл-молитвы-акедат/   Tehillim 119 – Akedat Yitzchak and Brachah Levatala https://silatehilim.com/теилим-119-как-избежать-брахи-леватала/   "Lech Lecha" in "Akedat Yitzchak" – 100 Keys to All Problems https://silatehilim.com/лех-леха-в-акедат-ицхак-100-ключей-от/   Secrets of the Korbanot Prayers https://silatehilim.com/секреты-молитв-корбонот/     (compiled from the book "Ben Ish Chai: Code of Torah Law by Weekly Torah Portions - Bereishit"; the prayer text is from the siddur "Tefillah Moshe," edited by Rabbi Baruch Malaev)
