Tikkun Parnassah
Tikkun Parnassah is a collection of special prayers and kavannot intended to remove the causes of blocked income.
Before praying, one should remember:
יאתה מִצָּפוֹן זָהָב - «Mi-tzafon zahav ya'ateh» - (gold comes from the north). (Job 37:22)
It is very important which direction a person faces while praying and making kavannot. Rabbi Yitzchak says:
«One who wishes to become wise should face south, while one who wishes to become wealthy should face north»—this is based on the fact that in the Temple, the Table, symbolizing blessing and abundance, stood in the north, while the Menorah, symbolizing the light of wisdom, stood in the south of the Sanctuary. (Bava Batra 25b)
It is also beneficial to perform 40 hand immersions—a special form of Netilat Yadayim that serves as a substitute for a mikveh. (The site can provide a PDF.)
1. Removing the impure kelipah from the home
The Mekubalim teach that there is a kelipah called
מישער—an impure energy that dwells in the home and causes delays in Parnassah. (Interestingly, the same letters form the word «
resha'im» (wicked people).
[This kelipah creates many problems for the home's residents].
How can this kelipah be removed from the home?
- Read Tehillim 119 by its letters—מישער
- Then read Tehillim 30—this transforms the negative energy in the home into positive energy.
2. Elevating one's Mazal
The book «Tehillim with the 72 Holy Names» presents the following segula:
Tehillim 119 (Heh)—verse 33 is recited for elevating one's Mazal.
The verse should be recited seven times:
הוֹרֵנִי יְהוָה דֶּרֶךְ חֻקֶּיךָ וְאֶצְּרֶנָּה עֵקֶב
«Horeni Ad-nai derech chukecha, ve-etzrenah eikev»—
(Teach me, O L-rd, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end.)
After a person has recited this verse seven times, a short prayer is recited:
יהי רצון בזכות השם הק'מ יקים ה' מזלי לטובה ולברכה
«Yehi ratzon bi-zchut Ha-Shem Heh-Kuf-Mem
ה ק מ yakim Ado-nai mazali le-tovah u-li-vrachah».
(May it be Your will that, in the merit of the Name Heh-Kuf-Mem, my mazal should rise for goodness and blessing.)
To strengthen the effect of the segula, one should then pronounce the letters of this Name in both direct and reverse order:
ה ק מ
«Heh» «Kuf» «Mem»
מ ק ה
«Mem» «Kuf» «Heh»
3. Abundance.
Light a candle le-khavod
Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi.
Read
Tehillim 24 seven times and give tzedakah equal in gematria to
«Parnassah Tovah» = 417 (if possible);
Prayer after reading Tehillim 24
«Yehi ratzon milfanekha, Ado-nai Elokeinu, ve-Elokei Avoteinu,
Kavanah:
מָן מס [«mem (kamatz)—final nun»—«mem (patach sheva)—samech»]
Hashem HaKadosh ve-haTov, she-atzliach be-inyan le-tlenu leman Shimcha HaGadol.
u-lekei ha-Shamayim ve-u-lekei ha-Aretz. Amen. Netzach. Selah. Va'ed».
(May it be Your will, O L-rd, our G-d and the G-d of our fathers (kavanah), that I succeed in this particular business today, in the merit of Your Holy Name.)
4. Recite the following pesukim seven times:
1)
«Va-yizra Yitzchak ba-aretz hahi va-yimtza ba-shanah hahi שערים מאה me'ah she'arim va-yevarechehu Ado-nai»—
(And Isaac sowed in that land, and in that year he reaped
a hundredfold (me'ah she'arim), and the L-rd blessed him.) (Genesis 26:12)
The Holy Name
מאה is also encoded in Tehillim (90:1): «Tefillah le-
Moshe
Ish
Ha-Elokim».
2)
«Pote'ach et yadekha u-masbi'a le-khol chai ratzon»—(You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor);
פאי —the gematria is
91, equal to the gematria of the Name
חתך—when transformed through Atbash, it yields the Name
סאל, which likewise has the gematria
The word
וּמַשְׂבִּ֖יעַ «u-masbi'a»—(You satisfy)—has the gematria
428, equal to the Name
חתך Chatach;
When saying
«le-khol chai ratzon», one should have in mind the abundance—the shefa—that flows into all the worlds.
Prayer
«Yehi ratzon milfanekha Hashem Elokeinu she-techiyye parnasati be-ruach u-ve-nachat ve-lo be-tzimtzum, be-rachamekha u-ve-chasdekha, ve-toshieni she-mezonotai yihyu mevorakhim mi-me'on kodshekha».
3) For
seven consecutive days, recite
10 times in the morning and
10 times in the evening the blessing of Yaakov Avinu to his son Asher:
«Me-Asher shmenah lachmo ve-hu yiten ma'adanei Melech»—(From Asher will come rich bread, and he will provide royal delicacies). (Genesis 49:20)
(Based on a lecture by Rabbi Yisrael Yakovov, «How to Rectify Parnassah»)
