Naso

- A number of mitzvot concerning the observance of the Second Passover – “Pesach Sheni”, which falls on the 14th of the month of Iyar;
Those who were ritually impure or were traveling far away at the time of the first Passover are given the opportunity to bring the Passover offering (applicable when the Temple is standing);
- The mitzvah of sounding trumpets in the Temple every day when an offering is brought, as well as during wartime, on festivals, and on the first day of the New Moon – “Tekiat chatzotzrot”.
Shelach
This portion contains 3 mitzvot:

- The mitzvah of separating a portion of dough – “Challah” after it has been kneaded.
Having received bread from the Creator, we, as it were, offer a portion of it as a gift to the kohanim – people who have devoted their entire lives to serving the Almighty.
- The mitzvah of inserting and tying threads in a specific manner at the corners of a four-cornered garment – “Tzitzit”;
- The prohibition against following the inclinations of the heart and the temptations of the eyes – “Lo taturu”, since every sin begins with desire: with insatiable eyes that look upon what belongs to others and what is forbidden, and with a heart that knows no restraint.
Korach
This portion contains 9 mitzvot:
5 positive mitzvot mitzvot aseh,
4 prohibitions mitzvot lo ta'aseh:
- The mitzvah of guarding the Temple – “Shemirat ha-Mikdash”;
- A number of mitzvot concerning the service of the Levites and kohanim in the Temple – “Avodat ha-Mikdash”, including the prohibition against kohanim performing the duties of Levites, and vice versa;
- The prohibition against an outsider serving in the Temple – “Shelo ya'avod zar ba-Mikdash”;
- The mitzvah of redeeming a firstborn from a kohen – “Pidyon bechor”, since the firstborn of a human being and of kosher animals is consecrated to the Almighty;
- The mitzvah concerning the first tithe – which belongs to the Levites and kohanim – “Ma'aser rishon”;
- The mitzvah of separating a tithe from the tithe – “Ma'aser min ha-ma'aser” – the Levites must give a tenth of their tithe to the kohanim.

- The mitzvah of listening to the sound of the shofar on the festival of “Rosh Hashanah” (the New Year) – “Shofar”.
Matot

- A number of mitzvot concerning the justice of the trial of a person who has committed murder – accidentally or intentionally – “Dinei rotze'ach”.
